One stage — one piece of evidence
Do not mark an item by looking only at the final frame. For every step, open the specified preview / comparer and verify that its output matches the expected state.
Workflow remains read-only
The checklist operates inside the site and writes nothing to the ComfyUI JSON.
Best practice
Keep one seed during diagnosis so routing problems are not confused with generation variability.
When the branch is genuinely ready
- People are readable in Preview 409.
- The mask covers the figure and has a clean edge.
- The cutout matches the scene tonally.
- Node 543 selects the expected mode.
- Node 459 returns a composite containing people.
- In the current configuration, Save 730 contains people; after enabling the HQ chain, final 15 is checked separately.
Checks before and after PEOPLE/PPL
- Input 79 and selected optional files are available in the active ComfyUI instance.
- Controls 541 / 456 / 168 / 453 / 543 / 693 have the expected effective values.
- Depth/Canny previews are verified before KSampler 1.
- SDXL result is correct in comparer 71.
- Architectural and PEOPLE masks have correct polarity and dimensions.
- Selected PPL result is visible at 459 / comparer 480.
- PEOPLE survives main FLUX decode 53 / save 730.
- HQ/overlay checkpoints are verified only after the mode-4 branch is deliberately enabled.
